What is it?

The Cornerstone School of Ministry seeks to equip the whole church for service, not just a professional segment. The School of Ministry follows the Biblical pattern of training laypeople for God's work. All of the body of Christ should be growing spiritually by being involved in His work. The 18 courses in the program will provide a good foundation for anyone interested in spiritual development and serving in ministry. Upon completion of all units of study, students are eligible to apply for a ministerial credential through Cornerstone Christian Community (click here for more information on a ministerial credential).

Six educational themes are found in each unit of study: Spiritual Life, Bible, Theology, Church, Service, and Ethics. It is recommended that students systematically study the courses in the order they are presented.

Unit One

Unit Two

Unit Three

Why is it important?

Every church needs well-trained workers who are able to perform the task of building up the body of Christ and the School of Ministry has been developed to accomplish this task. Every member of the local church should be involved in the ministry of their church in some way, according to the gifts that they possess.

Will it make a difference?

Regardless of whether you are pursuing your Ministerial Credential or just spiritual growth, there will be classes available and designed for you to continue that journey.

How Much Does It Cost?

NOTHING! The School of Ministry is FREE.
Cornerstone is able to keep this school free by offering the courses electronically in PDF format, and through correspondence.

How do I complete a course?

There is a Unit Test at the end of every 3 chapters. To take this test, simply go to the School of Ministry Testing Center online and answer the questions. You should receive your Score Report through email within 4 working days; often times much faster.
